How automatic removal works

How your image is handled

Background removal needs more computing power than a browser provides, so the image is sent over an encrypted connection to a processing server, where the background is removed and the result returned. The uploaded file is processed in an isolated worker and deleted within 30 minutes by a scheduled cleanup job; it is never logged or kept beyond that window.
